A luxury home from home exclusively for dachshunds

Nestled in the heart of Derbyshire in the picturesque town of Holmesfield, we are a family-run establishment known as the Sausage Dog Sanctuary Hotel.

We intimately understand the heartache of leaving our furry companions behind while we’re away, pondering where they’ll stay and how they’ll be cared for. That’s why we’re dedicated to providing a stay where dogs become a cherished part of our family and team, receiving the love, attention, and comfort they deserve.

Our goal is to offer an exquisite ‘home from home’ luxury boarding experience built around the breed we know best.

Our services

£35 Per 24 hours, plus VAT (£40 for entire males)

Weekdays: drop-off 8–10am, collection 4–6pm

Teeth Cleaning

Dachshunds are prone to tartar, and a stay with us is the ideal time to get on top of it. We use emmi-pet ultrasonic cleaning.

  • Your sausage comes home with a cleaner, fresher mouth
  • emmi-pet ultrasonic, so no scraping, no noise and no vibration
  • No sedation and no anaesthetic, so no stress and no vet bill
  • Done at their own pace by the team they already know

£25 per session plus VAT (£30 inc. VAT), added to any stay.

Hannah was great with our boy Cash. We saw him running around and having fun on regular posts on Instagram and this was so reassuring to see and we were able to rest and relax on our holiday so much better. He was only 7 months old during his stay and so I was a little worried for him as he was so young but there was no need. He had a blast! A great little retreat for your pooch. I would highly recommend!

Another massive thank you for taking care of Daisy so well. We always feel so relaxed knowing that she is with you and is being well looked after.
